Winning Strategies
For Our Restaurant Franchises
Going for the Goal
After more than 50 years in business, we’ve earned our status as an iconic brand. Our crowd-pleasing menu of favorites is available any time guests want and business thrives in small towns, suburbs and exurbs. The breakfast portion of the menu accounts for more than half of sales, which is awesome because breakfast items generally have higher margins than food typically ordered in other dayparts.
- Expanding our restaurant business opportunity to larger areas: Our Southern dining franchise opportunity has historically been well-suited for small towns, but our concept works in larger towns as well. And we’re making concentrated efforts to introduce our restaurants into these larger communities.
- Finding new customers: While we have a strong existing customer base, we want to drive brand new customers through the doors of our franchises.
- Increase business from existing customers: Many people eat at our restaurants occasionally or semi-regularly – think once or twice a month. We want to compel these customers to visit our restaurants even more often.
- Implement our loyalty system: We’ve developed a great loyalty system, and we’re looking forward to expanding it to every Huddle House franchise.
Our Team's Playbook
Huddle House is famous for being a small-town favorite. Our Southern-inspired menu features hearty favorites that are beloved throughout the U.S. In order to draw more customers to our restaurants, we develop advertisements that reflect these elements. For the coming year, we’re emphasizing the following in our marketing:

Southern Smart
Southern cooking is often viewed as classic and somewhat traditional, but we’re looking to showcase the innovative and modern elements of our menu as well.
High Quality Meals
We believe that many Americans are tired of turning to fast food when they need an affordable meal quickly. Huddle House offers high-quality, home-style meals at virtually any time of the day or night at a price that competes with fast food chains.

Communities First
At Huddle House, we’ve always seen ourselves as more than just another Southern dining franchise opportunity: our restaurants function as community centers and family gathering places. We’re looking to remind current prospective customers of our ties to their own communities in our marketing.
Digital Presence
We want to find our prospective customers where they spend time online, so we’re stepping up our digital marketing efforts. Not only will this generate greater brand awareness, but it will also be a major asset to each of our franchisees.
