Franchise Development Team

The Franchise Development Team is your first point of contact with Huddle House. We will assist you with the number of restaurants to be developed, your development schedule and the area(s) to be developed and navigation of the franchise qualification process. We want to accomplish two major objectives: 1) provide you with all of the information you need to make a solid business decision; and 2) request from you all of the information we need to make a solid decision regarding approval. The Franchise Development Team will also provide guidance and support during your site procurement for your Huddle House location.

Construction and Equipment Team

Once you sign a Franchise or Development Agreement, the Huddle House Construction and Equipment Team will provide assistance regarding the design, construction process, schedules and ordering of equipment for your new restaurant. We will work with you and other members of your team, including your approved general contractor, throughout the entire construction process, including site visits. There are certain general contractors that are familiar with the Huddle House system, which we will share with you. Of course, you may consider other general contractors.

Training Team

After you sign your Franchise or Development Agreement, we will schedule a Huddle House Training Program for you. The program involves an innovative combination of classroom interaction and practical work in the training stores. You will be trained in customer service, hospitality, food preparation and safety, quality, methods of cost control, store security, employee scheduling and management, recruiting and retention of employees, maintenance, budgeting and marketing. The Huddle House training department will be on hand to help with pre-opening training and any necessary follow-up training of your crew, as well as assistance in the actual opening of your new restaurant. After you open, the Huddle House training department continues to be available to you for scheduling of training programs for new management personnel and for limited field training. Our Training Department continually designs and upgrades the training materials used in our training programs.

Operations Team

Our Franchise Area Directors provide ongoing business consulting and operations support for our franchisees. These veteran restaurant operations professionals provide valuable assistance in all aspects of the Huddle House Restaurant operation. The Operations Team also hosts Regional Operations and Marketing Workshops for managers, operators and franchisees. In addition, our Franchise Area Directors visit Huddle House restaurants to work with you and to ensure that all units are maintaining the standards of the Huddle House System. We work with our franchisees regularly to develop and utilize innovative new products, services and operational system enhancements to satisfy the ever-changing wants and needs of our clientele.

Food Division and Distribution Team

Huddle House has product quality specifications and standards for all products used in our restaurants. Our state-of-the-art product supply and customer service distribution center is a 70,000 square foot facility, which is solely dedicated to servicing and supplying food to our Huddle House franchisees. We have cutting edge logistics software, GPS truck tracking technology and sophisticated racking and loading systems, all utilized to continually improve our service and support to our franchisees. This competitively-priced “one-stop shop” for approved food and related products utilizes the volume purchasing power of our 400+ unit system. Our staff of customer service representatives communicates with the restaurant managers weekly. Also, POS systems within the stores allow franchisees the convenience of ordering food right from the restaurant and tracking current inventory to help manage food costs.

Marketing Team

Our Marketing team supports Huddle House franchisees by implementing our national print marketing campaigns to attract new customers and increase traffic, with attention to profit margins. Our marketing professionals consult with franchisees and assist with developing local marketing strategies and provide advertising and point-of-purchase materials to support local efforts. An online marketing toolkit is available for franchisees to download advertising and marketing collateral templates and materials to help drive sales. Turnkey marketing programs are also available to address specific market needs. Our public relations firm is available to assist franchisees in connecting with customers through local media, as well as various social media outlets.

Menu Development

The Huddle House Corporate Chef and Menu Research and Development team work together to design new innovative products and limited time offerings that appeal to new and existing customers. They stay abreast of food trends and keep forecasted commodity pricing and seasonality in mind when developing quality menu items.
